Visitation Kit

The G-Tel Prison Visitation Kit is designed specifically for inmate vandal-resistant communication in prison and jail visitation areas, sallyports, gates, attorney privilege rooms, or control rooms.

This kit is ideal for prison applications to allow prisoners and visitors to converse without the need for a telephone line. Each visitation kit includes two G-TEL VP-3500 Stainless Steel, No-dial, ADA Compliant Phones, and the Viking 2-Way Line Emulator to create a point-to-point connection between the two phones. The G-Tel Visitation Kit VP-3500 phones are specific to this kit and include durable 14-gauge stainless steel housing, a Tamper-resistant locking system, and an Armored magnetic tamper-resistant hookswitch.

The VP-3500 has a built-in ADA-compliant volume control button with switch selectable audio attenuation and provides CPC breaks after hang-up on either port. The high-resolution OZ-01 Carbon and a 24” or 32” heavy-duty armored handset that is hearing aid compatible (HAC) and has an anti-static receiver. The armored cord is made to Bell Core standards and withstands a minimum 1000 lb pulling test with an internal lanyard for security. The handset has been designed to transmit for optimal clarity and reliability while using this specific line emulator. Handset changes are quick and easy onsite, as needed.
