It works and we use it as our home land line now in the pool room. It was clean, new phone handle and you can still add change to it as a piggy bank as we are doing currently. Arrived well packaged and very quickly. Highly recommend the back plate. Made it very easy to put up. Worth every cent!

I paid for the extra but very disappointed that the piece where you hang up the phone doesn't pop back up when you pick up the phone handled and I paid to have it reburshed and able to use. For that reason I would be cautious and concerned that it was not tested properly before sent to me. - David MarkunasOct 27, 2023, 03:10 PMThis payphone is the real deal. It weighs almost 50lbs. Just plug it in to your existing phone line and it starts working. I would highly reccomend this payphone to someone that wants the real thing.

Customer service was very helpful and they know that they are doing. It’s kinda crazy that payphone.com is pretty much the only way to get a payphone that works in as good of a condition where you get the most bang for your buck. Ordering and shipping was fast and I received mine within about a week and a half.

Be sure to get the t-bar to go with it, so you can open it up, which you'll need to do to get at the wiring to hook it up. Also doubles as a piggy bank (be sure to get the t-bar if you want to use it that way.). Very solid and durable (as you would expect for a real payphone.)
