Designed to fit most GTE/Quadrum Style Payphones, the G-Tel PP-Kit converts your payphone to a coin-less analog telephone for home use. GTE/Quadrum style payphones have the coin return on the lower right front of the payphone (shown here). If your coin return slot is on the left side, you own a Western-style payphone and this kit will not work for you.

PLEASE NOTE: You must have the keys to your payphone, you will need to work inside the phone. Payphone keys are not replaceable or duplicated. If you do not have the keys, you must drill out the locks to access the upper housing.

Hi, I am getting a dialtone, and i'm able to dial out without a problem. However, when I call the phone number there is no RING coming from the speaker. Is there a way to troubleshoot this?

What do the dip switches do on the unit? I’m guessing handset volume and ringer volume? Which is which?

Does this kit have its own ring tone or will it use the payphones ringer?
